State of the art office
We use state of the art equipment in the office. Listed below are 2 instruments we use to assist in detecting cavities or cracks in the teeth along with our digital x-rays.
1.) Diagnodent is a quick, reliable and safe way to detect cavities thru harmless laser technology.
This advanced technology is more precise than traditional methods of cavity detection. It allows us to identify cavities in their earliest stages when they are easy to treat. The device consists of a wand and a monitor. The wand delivers harmless laser energy to the tooth, which translates into readings. The higher the reading, the greater level of decay in the tooth.
2.) Transilluminator is known as a "light detector" like a lie detector to truly determine if a crack is present or not. A fractured or cracked tooth has the potential to harbor bacteria which can lead to decay or the fracturing of the tooth. The transilluminator is an excellent way to diagnose any issues with teeth.
